Quarter 3, Week 5 – Judging Validity of Evidence

This week our topic is all about Judging the validity of Evidence. Before we proceed to our topic our teacher gave us a spelling quiz to help us grow our vocabulary. In the spelling, we spelled words like; cliche, liaison, minuscule, etc. After our spelling activity, we had our Anglo-American Literature Icon, Stephenie Meyer. Stephenie Meyer is an American Novelist and a film producer, she is known for writing the famous vampire romance series Twilight.
Some of Stephenie Meyer's books are New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, etc. We also have our Figure of Speech in focus. This week the figure of speech in focus is Paradox. What is Paradox? It is a figure of speech that is a seemingly absurd or self-contradictory statement that when investigated or explained may prove to be well-founded or true. One example sentence of a Paradox is Save money by spending it. Our activity is making a blog as a performance task.
