Quarter 3, Week 1- Making Personal Opinion
This week our topic is about Making Personal Opinion. We start our discussion with our Flag ceremony and the attendance check. Our also teacher reminded us to keep following health protocol led by the government. To start our learnings, we have our spelling bee words like; Queue, supersede, tyranny, bizarre, bazaar, etc. In this week we also have our Anglo- American Literature Icon Richard Duane Warren. Mr.Richard Duane Warren is one of the most recognized and influential pastors in the world and is the founder of the Saddle Church, Which is the eighth-largest church in the USA. Some of his works are; "The Purpose Driven Church", "The Purpose Driven Life" which are featured on the New York Times Best Seller list.
We also have our Figure of Speech in Focus that is Proverb. What is Proverb? A proverb is a figure of speech about a simple and insightful, traditional saying that expresses a perceived truth based on a common scene or experience. Some examples of proverbs are; A picture is worth a thousand words, Actions speaks louder than words, etc. We discussed What opinion is, an expression of belief, attitude, value, judgment, or feeling. Opinion is neither true nor false that can mislead others. We also discussed implicit and explicit opinions. What are Implicit and Explicit? Implicit is an opinion implied not plainly or directly expressed, while Explicit is an opinion that is fully and clearly expresses something and does not leave implied.

- It is reasonable - It is quite acceptable - I am convinced - I have the feeling that
The exercises given to us are easy, especially in identifying if it is Implicit or Explicit.

Essay:
Everyone has their own opinion and beliefs. I think knowing everything is better than knowing what we want. But I don't have any doubt about knowing the difference between our opinions. Others say that"It is worth nothing when we don't listen to what others believe. It seems like we're not open-minded when we don't understand them but, I believe even though we won't understand or agree with the same side we could still listen and widen our minds. Let's accept the fact that some will agree and some will not, but it would probably be better if we just listen to each other.
